Add video content to a Cascade CMS page.
Before you begin, ensure that your video file is in one of the following supported formats:
MP4 (MPEG-4)
WebM
Ogg
Cascade CMS has a 30 MB video upload limit.
Compress videos before uploading for improved performance and faster load times.

Add a Video using the WYSIWYG
Sign in to your Cascade CMS account.
Navigate to the page where you want to insert the video.
Click the Edit button to enter the editing mode.
Locate the area in the page's content where you want to insert the video. This may be within the WYSIWYG editor or a specific content block.
Click in the text where you want your video to appear.
Click Insert/edit media
The General Tab
The General tab is for inserting media files hosted either externally or within Cascade CMS itself. You can provide a URL to an external video (e.g., a video hosted on your own server or a video file that has been uploaded to Cascade CMS. However, this tab does not accept direct YouTube video URLs. It requires a direct link to the video file itself, such as an MP4, WebM, or Ogg file.
Click the General Tab.
Paste the link in the Source box.
Click Ok.
Click Preview Draft to see your page.
The Embed Tab
The Embed tab is designed for embedding media using iframe or embed code, which can include videos from third-party platforms like YouTube or Vimeo. By pasting the embed code in this tab, you can display the video directly on your Cascade CMS page, even though the video file is not hosted within Cascade CMS.
Open your web browser and navigate to the YouTube video you want to embed on your Cascade CMS page.
Below the video, click on the "Share" button.
In the "Share" dialog box, click on the "Embed" tab.
Copy the provided embed code.
Repeat Instructions 1-6 above.
Click the Embed Tab.
Paste the copied YouTube embed code into the appropriate box.
Click Ok.
Click Preview Draft to see your page.
Submit Changes
Click Preview Draft.
Click Submit.
Page is saved and shows in the Site Directory.
