Copy text and Paste without Formatting
IMPORTANT: If you copy content from another webpage or a digital document and intend to paste it into your site, it is suggested to import raw, unformatted text into your new pages.
Whenever you copy text or content from another source (examples: a Wordpress page, or a PDF) into the Cascade WYSIWYG editor, always use the right-click option and choose “Paste Without Formatting”
This will import only raw text without any invisible code that comes from those sources. This is important because classes and styles in the code will cause conflicts in your site’s CSS and may also cause issues in your Site Improve accessibility score.
What is the difference between Rich Text and Plain Text?
Plain text is raw, unformatted text that is strictly readable material; it lacks styles, graphics, or markup language.
Rich text contains styles such as bolding, and structure such as paragraphs and sections, as well as images and other objects. It may also contain metadata and other markup that may cause errors in your new site.
