Run an Accessibility Scan of a Single Page in Siteimprove

Siteimprove is a web-based tool that crawls websites and reports back on quality assurance issues, such as broken links and misspellings, and accessibility issues measured by the W3C Web Content and Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Before you can run a single page scan:

  • You need to have a Siteimprove account

  • Your site needs to be added to Siteimprove

  • You need have access to the site within Siteimprove

  • Your web page should be LIVE in cascade CMS.


 Instructions

  1. Visit siteimprove.com and login with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the site where the page you want to scan is located.

  3. From the Dashboard, select Accessibility.



  4. Select Accessibility Overview.



  5. On the right hand side of the page, select the search for a page button.

     

  6. Enter the full URL of the page you would like to scan and select the magnifying glass icon to locate the page.

     

  7. From the search results page, click on the page you would like to scan.

  8. The accessibility page report will open in a new window.
