Creating a slideshow with the Homepage Slideshow Template

The Full Width Slideshow visual element can be previewed on our Demo website. It is only available on the Homepage Slideshow Template.

In this section:

 Add the Home Page Slideshow Template

1. In the Site Content tree on the left, click on the folder name where you wish to create the home page.

2. Look for a red plus sign in the topmost header area of the page, and click on Add Content.

3. From the Add Content menu, click on Add Home Pages.

4. Select your template style and then select the Homepage with Slideshow template from the menu.

5. Include a Page Name. The page name will dictate your URL. You are not permitted to use spaces or special characters. You may use a dash or underscore.

6. Confirm or select a new placement folder.

7. Fill out the Title.

8. Fill out the rest of the content and select page options.

9. When you have finished creating your page, click Preview Draft. After previewing the draft, click Submit to save the page to CMS.

10. The page has been successfully saved to the CMS. You must now Publish your page.

 Create the Full Width Slideshow

1. From the Content tab, scroll down to the Add Hero Carousel? option. By default this option should be selected.
   
   

2. The Carousel group is located underneath the Page Options and will include two demo slides.

3. Click one of the demo images to choose a new image file.

4. Add a slide heading. Slide headings are centered and will appear towards the bottom of the image. Slide Headings are not required.

5. Using the Carousel group settings, build your slideshow.
