Video Footer Landing Page

Video Landing pages offer a different presentation to highlight a main idea and channels for your site. They can be used as home pages or a way highlight important contact deeper in a site as needed.

Video landing pages do not include site breadcrumbs, alert messages or news blocks.

Page Options for Video Landing Page

While editing your standard page in Cascade CMS, you can select the page options to include additional visual elements to add emphasis to important information. These page options can be turned on and off at any time. Page Option elements can be previewed on our Demo website.

Landing Intro

The landing intro element can be used an be used as an additional element to highlight important page content. This element is configured into two columns and it is available on the Homepage with Video Banner and Landing Page with Video Footer templates.

Crimson Highlight Banner

Similar to a call-to-action banner, the crimson highlight banner offers an additional option to highlight important content and break up the flow of content. Depending on the options you have set, the crimson highlight banner appears below the Landing Intro.

How to Add an Highlight from Page Options

  • Under the Show Highlights? option, select Yes.

  • The Crimson Highlight section appears. Add the Input Content.


Call to Action Banner

The call-to-action highlight element should be used as a banner to highlight something important. Depending on the options you have set, the call-to-action banner will appear above the footer or video Lightbox and Banner.

How to Add an Call-to-Action Banner from Page Options

  • Under the Show Call-to-Action? option, select Yes.

  • The Call-to-Action Banner group appears.
    Add the Banner Content.


Video Lightbox and Banner

The Video Footer Landing Page includes a Banner Image and Video Lightbox. The video lightbox and banner will appear above the footer on the landing page and can be turned on and off at any time.

Background Content Features

  • The background content includes a parallax effect. You can include a static image, gif or video as the background. It is recommended that if video is used that it is a short clip without audio.

  • Optional heading and paragraph content on a transparent card.

What is a Parallax Effect?

Parallax effects involve a website's background moving at a different speed than the foreground content. This visual technique creates an illusion of depth which leads to a faux-3D effect upon scroll.

Video Light Box Features

  • The video lightbox will launch after the “play video” button is clicked.

  • Videos must be hosted on a third-party service, such as YouTube or Vimeo

  • Videos will autoplay and include full sound.

You can edit the current Background Content and Video Lightbox, including hiding or editing, by expanding the section to see what details are currently set.

To hide the Background Content and Video Lightbox section altogether, select “No” in the Display Video Lightbox and Banner? section of the Content Area.
