Landing Page Templates and Visual Elements

Landing Pages can also act as homepages, but that is not all they are used for. They can also be used as standalone landing pages deeper in a site as needed. Visual Elements and Page Options are specialty widgets and features that are available on landing pages that offer various ways to customize site presentation. Use this page to browse template style and all of the visual elements and page options that can be used on a landing page in Cascade CMS.

Landing Page Templates

There are two types of landing pages, “program information” and “video footer.” Each landing page type has its own unique function, purpose, and strength. You can preview all of the landing page templates on our demo website.

The design and layouts depicted in the template examples above and in the demo include sample content and present an overview of layout ideas that are to be used as inspiration for your own web presentation needs.


Features of a Program Information Landing Page

Hero Visual Element

The topmost element in the Content Area of the pr landing page is the Hero Visual Element.

You can edit the current Hero Visual Element by expanding the Hero Visual Element section to see what details are currently set.

Page Options and Program Block

Just below the Hero Visual Element  section, you will see a Page Options section. If you can created a new page from the Add Content menu, you'll notice that some of the page options have be pre-selected. You can expand and collapse each section to view or edit the content.

To hide a Page Option section altogether, select “No” for each option.

Each page option represents a type of content on your program landing page, and each can be set with unique options and styles. Browse the following types of Page Options for Program Info Landing Page Template and how to manage each.

Program Facts Block

The Program Information Landing Page includes a Program Facts Block. The program facts block will appear to the left of the main content area. The Program Fact block is a “sticky” element, meaning it will stay fixed on the left hand side of the screen as the user scrolls through the content on the right.

Features of a Video Footer Landing Page

Page Options and Video Lightbox

Before the content area, you will see a Page Options section. If you can created a new page from the Add Content menu, you'll notice that some of the page options have be pre-selected. You can expand and collapse each section to view or edit the content.

Video Lightbox and Banner

The Video Footer Landing Page includes a Banner Image and Video Lightbox. The video lightbox and banner will appear above the footer on the landing page and can be turned on and off at any time.
