Features of a Category Page

There is only one template for a category page but there are options that create flexibility in layout and presenting a hero visual element.

The design and layouts depicted in the template examples above and in the demo include sample content and present an overview of layout ideas that are to be used as inspiration for your own web presentation needs.


How to add a category page

  1. In the Site Content tree on the left, click on the folder name where you wish to create the article.

  2. Look for a red plus sign in the topmost header area of the page, and click on Add Content.

  3. From the Add Content menu, click on Add a Page - Category Listing.


  4. Include a Page Name. The page name will dictate your URL. You are not permitted to use spaces or special characters. You may use a dash or underscore.

  5. Confirm or select a new placement folder.

  6. Include a Title. The Display Name is not required.

  7. Select one or more categories from the Category drop down menu,

  8. Select layout and hero element options.

  9. Select listing type from Listing Style dropdown menu.

  10. Include optional Intro Content. Intro Content will appear above the listing type and sidebar.

  11. Click Preview Draft. After previewing the draft, click Submit to save the page to CMS.

  12. The page has been successfully saved to the CMS. You must now Publish your page.
