Breadcrumbs are the "trails" left by the user that has navigated to a given page. It is a listing of the directories (folders) that contain the page a user is currently browsing. This information is usually displayed near the top of a page, below the navigation bar.
For pages where this data is unnecessary, such as when the page is in the main directory and doesn't need a trail, it may be preferable to remove it.
Instructions
In the Site Content tree on the left, righ-click on the name of the page and choose Edit.
On the Configure tab, scroll down to the BREADCRUMBS region.
Click the box that read No Format in the Overrides column (see image).
Preview Draft or Submit your change to save it.
