Migrating Text
Info |
---|
Simple unformatted text is easy to migrate by using the Copy and Paste commands. Format the text AFTER copying it into Cascade. If the text contains links, they will copy as well. However, check to make sure they are linking to the original data and not the WordPress page.IMPORTANT: For best results, it is suggested to import raw, unformatted text into your new pages. To avoid accidentally importing unwanted text settings from the old site, paste your copied content into a simple word-processing application such as WordPad or TextEdit. This removes text formatting and allows you to cut and paste “plain text” into your new page. Any optional formatting (such as bold, italic, bullet text, or hyperlinks) should be inputted through the Cascade WYSIWYG.” |
Navigate to your WordPress page and Copy the text you want to migrate.
Paste the text into the Content area of the new page you created in Cascade.
