As part of our web development branding transition project in 2023, we’ve created a super clean, minimalistic website template system for building responsive, mobile-first sites, with Bootstrap 4. The new and improved templates include a full snippet library for awesome capability for customization. In addition we’ve overhauled our Cascade interface that includes new features provide users with more design options, a streamlined template framework, and a navigation builder.
Our basic training guide will provide a good overview of how to get started in cascade regardless of theme version you are using.
Keep in mind, all sites requested after July 1, 2023 will be created with the new theme.
After July 1, 2023, we will not be creating new sites with the legacy theme. All of our resources for the legacy theme will still be available at https://learncascade.nmsu.edu/
As you explore this self paced training environment, keep an eye out for page labels. These are the small tags at the bottom of each page that act as keywords. We’ve create a special tag called BOOTSTRAP-4. All of the exclusive articles will include this special tag.
