While editing your home page in Cascade CMS, you can select the page options to include additional visual elements to add emphasis to important information. These page options can be turned on and off at any time.

Alert Message

The alert message element can be previewed on our Demo website. It is available on all three homepage templates from the Page Options section. The alert message will appear on a turquoise background.

How to Add an Alert Message from Page Options

  • Under the Show Alert? option, select Yes.

  • The Page Alert Message group appears.
    Add the Alert Content.


Highlight

The highlight element can be previewed on our Demo website. The highlight element should be used as a call-to-action banner to highlight something important. It is available on all three homepage and both landing page templates.

The highlight will appear on a crimson background, and depending on the options you have selected, this will appear above the news block or footer of the page.

How to Add a Highlight from Page Options

  • Under the Show Highlights? option, select Yes.

  • The Crimson Highlights group appears.
    Add the Input Content.


Landing Intro

The Landing Intro element can be previewed on our Demo website. The landing intro element can be used in lieu of a banner image or slideshow or included as an additional element to highlight important page content. This element is configured into two columns and it is available on the Homepage with Video Banner and Landing Page with Video Footer templates.

How to Add a Landing Intro from Page Options

  • Under the Show Landing Intro? option, select Yes.

  • The Landing Page Intro group appears. It includes:

  1. Landing Page Sub Header - This appears as small stylized text above the section header in the left column.

  2. Landing Page Header - This is the primary header for this element. It appears under the Sub Header in the left column.

  3. Left Column Content - This content appears under the page header. You can use the WYSIWYG editor to customize this content.

  4. Right Column Content - This content section is best suited for an image, slideshow or video embed. You can use the WYSIWYG editor to customize this content.
