Assets can copied to another folder/location in Cascade CMS via the More menu, by right-clicking on any asset or in the Cascade Workspace.

From the More Menu

  1. Select the desired asset in the Site Content menu on the left of the interface.

  2. To copy the asset, click More on the far right and then click on Copy.

  3. Enter a new asset name and select the location for the asset by selecting a new folder location.

  4. From the Choose Menu, select a new folder for the asset and click Choose.

  5. When ready to move the asset, click Copy.
    A notification will appear at the bottom of the screen, including a link to copied asset.


By Right-click

  1. Select the desired asset in the Site Content menu on the left of the interface.

  2. Right-click on the asset you want to move. In the context menu, accessible by right-clicking on any asset, select the Copy option.

  3. Enter a new asset name and select the location for the asset by selecting a new folder location.

  4. From the Choose Menu, select a new folder for the asset and click Choose.

  5. When ready to move the asset, click Copy.
    A notification will appear at the bottom of the screen, including a link to copied asset.


From the Workspace

You can copy multiple assets at once when using the workspace view.

You will not be prompted to update the page name or location of the copied assets when copying from the workspace. Assets will be copied in the same location and the page name or file names will be appending with a number.

  1. Find the current folder where the assets you would like to copy are stored. From the Site Content menu on the left of the interface. Select a folder by hovering over the asset name and clicking on the arrow > that appears to the right. The contents of that folder will display in the main view on the right hand side.

  2. Select the check box next to all of the assets you would like to copy. After you make one selection, a menu of options will appear next to Selection drop-down.

  3. Click on the Copy icon.

  4. Select a Destination Folder from the menu and click Copy.

  5. Review the assets you would like copied and Click Confirm Copy.
