Publishing is the final step in the content creation process and is what pushes your content on the web server(s). Without publishing, you will not be able to preview your content on a live web page.

Overview

The Publish action is available for:

  • Pages

  • Images

  • PDF files

  • Folders

  • Entire Sites

You can publish these assets to the NMSU content servers. When you publish content, you will note two destinations listed. Both destinations are the web servers that delivers what is often called the "live site."


Publish a Page

  1. Select the desired page in the Site Content menu on the left of the interface.

  2. While previewing the page, click on the Publish tab.

  3. Click Publish.

You can also publish a page by right-clicking on the page name, and selecting the Publish option from the context menu.


Publish a Folder

  1. Select the desired folder in the Site Content menu on the left of the interface.

  2. While previewing the contents of the folder, click on the Publish tab.

  3. Click Publish.
