The default options for the site footer include a crimson or white background. In addition to the default options, you can also select the standard (sand background) or a simple footer set up. The process to create a new page with the simple footer is similar to adding a standard page. However, you could also edit an existing page on your site and select a new footer option. Review the two options below.
It is recommended that your footers are consistent across your website, but you do have the option to select a different footer on a page-by-page basis if it is needed.
Table of Contents
Option 1: Add a Standard Page with Simple Footer
Create the Folder for Redirect Page
In the Site Content tree on the left, click on the folder name where you wish to create the new folder.
Look for a red plus sign in the topmost header area of the page, and click on Add Content.
From the Add Content menu, select New Folder.
Fill in the Folder Name and Display Name.
Click Submit to save the folder to the CMS.
Your new folder should be highlighted in the asset tree to the left. Publish the folder.
The Folder Name will generate the page URL, therefore, it should be all lowercase letters separated by hyphens, without underscores, special characters (e.g. #$%$%^&), or any spaces.

Create the Vanity URL Redirect
You must create a folder before you can create a page.
From the Site Content tree on the left, click on the folder name you just created.
Look for a red plus sign in the topmost header area of the page, and click on Add Content.
From the Add Content menu, select Add Vanity URL.
Leave the default Page Name of index.
Enter the full website address of the website you want to redirect to for the Vanity URL Destination.
Click Preview Draft. After previewing the draft, click Submit to save the page to Cascade CMS.
The page (with redirect) has been successfully saved to the CMS. You must now Publish the redirect.
There should only be one index page per folder. You can create sub-folders within a folder, however, each sub-folder can only contain one index page.
Option 2: Change an Existing Page to a Simple or Sand Footer
In the Site Content tree on the left, select the page you wish to edit (convert to a redirect page).
Once the page has loaded, click Edit.
Select the Configure tab.
Click on the page template name under Content Type.
From the Choose a content type menu, click on the Browse tab and select Vanity from the list.
Click Choose.
Select the Content tab.
Enter a Vanity URL Destination.
Click Preview Draft. After previewing the draft, click Submit to save the page to Cascade CMS.
The page (with redirect) has been successfully saved to the CMS. You must now Publish the redirect.
When the redirect content type is selected, there is no need to delete any of the existing page content. The redirect will override any existing content.
You can also edit a page by right-clicking on the page name, and selecting the Edit option from the context menu.
