The Sticky Block template fixes a card to the left hand side of the screen as the user scrolls down the page that provides an easy way to arrange and structure the content you always want in view as someone browses your web page. The Sticky Block can be used as navigation, promotional content, request for information (RFI) form, etc.

Hero Visual Element
The topmost element in the Content Area of the sticky block page is the Hero Visual Element. This element can be previewed on our Demo website.

Banner Image Specs and Recommendations
Page heading and sub heading will be left aligned.
The image is fixed width with rounded edges.
The recommended image size is 1080x212.
You can edit the current Hero Visual Element, including hiding or editing by expanding the Hero Visual Element section to see what details are currently set. Look for the Hero Visual Element labels in the Content Area.

Page Titles
The Page Title is one of the most important element on the sticky block page. It is the first thing search engines "read" that tells them what your web page is about. Page Titles are the first item in the Content Area on the Sticky Block template. The Page Title will appear at the top of your page depending on the page options you select and in the site breadcrumbs.

Page Options
While editing your sticky block page in Cascade CMS, you can select the page options to include additional visual elements to add emphasis to important information. These page options can be turned on and off at any time.

Call to Action Banner

The call-to-action highlight element should be used as a banner to highlight something important. The highlight will appear on a crimson background and will appear above the footer of the page. The call-to-action banner is a fixed width element.

Working with the Sticky Block
The sticky block element is fixed on the left hand side of the screen. It will stay in position once the user scrolls past the hero visual element and page introduction. The block will shift it’s position once the user scrolls past to the call-to-action banner (if enabled).

How to add content to the Sticky Block and Scrolling Area
Scroll down the Content Tab past the page options until you see the Sticky Block Content group.
Add your text, code, and other content in the Content for Sticky Block area.
Add scrollable content as you would with any other page. Each Row will be labeled with (Scrolling Area).
