You must choose one of two methods for creating to create the Top Navigation Menu.

  1. Automatic Top Navigation: Most site templates use this format by default, which . It is automatically applied to newly created pages.

  2. Manual Top Navigation: See article Custom Top Navigation.

  1. All pages in the Root Directory appear in the Top Navigation menu. If you do not want a folder or page to appear in the menu, delete the Title in the page’s settings. (For more information, see Filename, Title and Display Names.)

  3. To find out if whether your page is using the Automatic Top Navigation format, do the following:

    • View your page.

    • Click ….More.

    • Select Show Regions.

    • Click TOP NAVIGATION.

If your page is not using the top-nav-automatic format, change it by following follow the instructions below.

Adding Automatic Top Navigation

  1. View your page and click Edit.

  2. Click Configure.

  3. Navigate to Top Navigation at the bottom.

  4. Click on Choose Format.

  5. Click Browse and Select Assets Folder.

  6. Select top-nav-automatic and click Choose.

  7. Submit. (Your page will now be using the Automatic Top Navigation format.)

Changing the Order of the Top Navigation Menu

  1. Click View folder for the Root Directory to view the contents of your site.

  2. Click the Order column.

  3. Locate your pages.

  4. Drag to change the order.

If you have folders that contain pages, include that your pages are saved inside a folder, be sure to drag and drop the entire folder when changing the order for of the Top Navigation menu.
