If you changed the blog-default image and did not retain the filename or opted to provide a new filename, you will need to update the image-default format.

Important: Maintaining proper code syntax is crucial when editing filenames and alternative text in velocity format files. Please make sure to maintain proper code syntax.

Instructions

  1. In the Site Content tree on the left, click on the _cms folder, then click on the formats folder.

  2. Select the image-default format.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. The first line of code contains the image path and the second line of code contains the image alternative text. If you have uploaded your new default image in the same folder,

  5. Drag and drop an image from somewhere on your computer into the browser window, or choose one from your computer. The File Name will automatically populate with the file name previously given to the image. You must retain the file name blog-default.jpg. If you do not retain the filename, you will need to update the image-default format.

  6. There are minimal photo editing options available that you can use to resize or crop your image. Your default image should be 700 x 467 pixels. See Upload Image WYSIWYG Editor for more information.all you need to update is the file name in the first line of code.

  7. Click Preview Draft. After previewing the draft, click Submit to save the image to the CMS.The image has been successfully saved to the CMS. You should now Publishyour image.
