Some common things that site managers might be looking to achieve by editing an existing page may actually be handled by editing other assets. The first thing to understand is that if you are looking to change sitewide aspects of a site like the main navigation, drop-down menus, footer links, or the site name - all of these features are changed at the site level. You won't find anything on any page template that can affect these things. Just like all other page assets, the controls available when you edit a existing page only affect the page you are editing. |
Instructions
To view your site's content, click on the Go to a Site dropdown in the upper left corner. Select your site. You can type or search for the name.
Once on your Site, select the desired page in the Site Content menu on the left.
Once the page has loaded, click the Edit tab.
Edit the content using the WYSIWYG editor, or by making the desired changes to the text in the content fields.
Click Preview Draft (blue button at the top of the screen). After previewing the draft, click Submit to save these changes to the CMS.
The page has been successfully saved to the CMS. You must now Publishyour page.
